Not digging the matte paint, but it would look great in high gloss.

Make it be in an incredibly fine metal flake and we have a winner.

No problem with the color, looks great in any color (I think this color would work even better on a split-window). Hate that they ditched the front bumper though. Just looks wrong without it. Had they just painted the chrome, on the front like they did on the back I think that would work (though frankly the chrome on both bumpers would be better).

I think the same thing. Would look great in gloss black or blue.

Plus 1 on that.

Whenever I see a matte finish, I hope it is a wrap over a base coat. Even if it is just an epoxy sealer underneath. Caring for matte paint finish is a task I would not want to contemplate, and wrap can be re-applied much easier than re-painting a whole car.
As a resto-mod C2 coupe... in matte purple... I would have gone bolder on the details. staggered diameter and width rear wheels with a more aftermarket/hot rod design, rather than somewhat usual fuelies.
Personally, I don’t mind the front bumper, but for a gran sport look, I would have gone with matte gray or black mesh in the front grille, rather than bright billet. I would have also gone with matte gray or black on the rear bumperettes for a bit of contrast on the back.

I’m almost certain it’s plastidip

Then not that far off from vinyl wrap, and not as permanent or hard to care for as paint, and easier to re-apply if it needs to be repaired.

cool. it takes guts to make a custom of one of those.
